Hello Dolphin supporters, hope you are enjoying the fine weather? It’s a real shame we haven’t got a pub garden to sit in…..

We are told by Vickery Holman (St Austell Brewery’s agent) there are still plans to get a temporary manager for the Dolphin Inn. They have said a couple of weeks, but we haven’t got a date yet. If we get one we will let you know.

Despite this, when it does open we hope that you will all support it, because if it isn’t profitable it won’t stay open.

Sadly the ‘for sale' sign is up, but there is no sign of a buyer. Please share the sale information far and wide, we still hope that someone will buy it and open it as a pub. Maybe the power of our wonderful local community will find the new landlord.

We have almost finished a business plan and it is nearly time to start collecting pledges. By doing this we will know how big an offer we can make before collecting money.

If you have already offered help we will be in touch very soon. If you haven’t offered help yet, but do find you have some spare time we are always looking for volunteers to support saving the Dolphin Inn, please get in touch.
